-in love-

About three and a half weeks have passed after my proposal to my best friend.  You start to have deep thought about how much you love the man or woman you are marrying and all the times you spent together, happy, sad, good and bad all sparks in your mind.  It flashes back all the memories you've created and comes to a coast to present tense then begins pondering of how life is going to be with the person you are going to marry.  Future hopes and dream are imagined and planned of how life is going to be with that other person with the possibility of additional family members, bundles of joy.  To some, marriage might be different, but to me, I can see a life long commitment to my soon to be wife, my fiancee, and my best friend.  Who know's what the future holds but I know I will always continue to love my soulmate.

Initial Planning Phases Wedding pt1

If you just tuned in, I proposed to my best friend, girl friend and now Fiance in Laguna Beach on the outskirts of Las Brisas Restaurant alongside the beach.  The start of that morning stirred up many emotions, anxious, nervous, happy, excited... you name it, I had it.  The drive to Laguna Beach, sitting in the restaurant trying to keep composure with one thing in mind, proposing.  I was shakey, and a bit worried that she might have seen the box in my pants.  Ok, my pants are not the most baggy, they are just fitting, tapered... So the whole time, you can see it!  It pops out under my jeans pocket so I'm like dude she saw.  Thankfully enough after the proposal, she didn't notice so everything turned out as planned if not better.  So now almost two weeks have passed, we've decided on a date, coming up with a guest list to know how large our party is going to be and now setting up appointments for a venue.  We have 11 months ahead of us now and time is ticking.

.Take a moment.

Got work, sit through traffic, by the time you get home... your second job continues.  Sometimes we think that life is so stressful that we cant spare a moment to even breathe.  I've heard people complain that they don't even have 30 mins to do a quick excercise.  I know I may not have as many to do's on my to do list but I know for a fact, each person can spare some time to sit and relax and do something that they enjoy doing.  This is quite similar to my other post where sometimes people need to stop and smell the roses, look at the trees, the skies and nature on how beautiful life is presented all around us.  Enjoy the time you have with friends and family and look to seeing that they are happy before you are.  That is what makes me the simple, yet balanced and understanding individual that I am.  So I say, take a moment, take a breathe of fresh air, and do something for yourself.  Excercise your right

Love you more than the entire earth!

So much positive energy coursing through my body, the utter feel of extreme satisfaction and being grateful for the loved ones in my life.  The sheer joy I feel overwhelms me at times at how thankful I am for the life I was given, and the experiences I went through.  To be in love with your best friend the way I am with mine, makes you feel on top of the world, feel as if you are invincible to any obstacle, because all you have is each other and having a clear understanding of each other can break down any impossible feat among this earth.

Happy 5 months baby!  I love you

.Stop and smell the roses.

Ever think about taking a minute, even a second to stop and smell the roses.  Here in Southern California, everyone seem so busy these days that tasks get stacked and we all find little time to complete them all.  We set high standards for completing things each day that sometimes we need to pause and think about life, the people in our lives and how much we need to appreciate what we have because nobody on this earth is here forever.  Deep topic?.. yeah I intended on having one since this one has been on my mind for quite some time now and what better way to express it, but by laying it out here right on my blog.  Honestly, this blog is like my small getaway from the everyday mundane of life's todo list.  For some odd reason, rainy days gets me thinking a lot about life and everything it has to offer.  I know, there should be more days where I can focus on living this legacy where anyone who hears my name knows that i've been a great person and know's that I could be the best person that I can be.  What I'm trying to say is that with all of our busy schedules, we put aside some time, any time to thank or help a person in need.  One word can mean the world to somebody else.

Rainy day's in Los Angeleees...

Welcome back rainy weather!  Its the beginning of October and last week it truly felt like a late late summer.  I thought summer was done with?!  So this week has been cold, whet, and claps of thunder revisit the lovely skies.  I know, you're probably thinking, why is this guy so into the cold and rainy weather for??  I'll tell you why... You're able to dress up and wear jackets and the air feels so crisp and clean.  The sound of rain drops is romantic to me just hearing it hit the glass pane and also makes for a good nights sleep.  My baby even mentioned that their was a possible chance of hail.. ooh now that be a sight!  If it's ever too cold to sleep, go and cuddle.  That's what helps me keep enough warmth for the night and a nice high thread count comforter.  I remember when I used to live up North in the Bay area, nights would get as low as 30 degrees and those were some beyond cold nights!  brrrr...  So I heard its going to be sunny tomorrow, which im hoping it won't be but sun once in awhile can't hurt.  But for now, take out those umbrella's and lets splash some puddles!

NPR keeps me goin

OR
The dreaded drive home from Anaheim back to Corona requires taking the 91 freeway back home at a critical time.  Yep, you guessed it, congested traffic.  There are good and their are bad times when the freeway remains clear til I hit about Green River but that cuts about 10 miles of what could've of been traffic, or what my girlfriend calls it, "a parking lot" haha.  Yeah sometimes it never moves or we just creep at about a 5 mph pace.  Good thing my commute is 15 miles total, but sometimes that still can add up to about 45 minutes to an hour.  I know I needed something good to listen to while i sit in traffic 5 days a week and I thought, hey... my ipod is great that will get me through my time in traffic.  But realistically, that ipod can only go so far.  No matter how many albums I add on there, the content will never be new but don't get me wrong, this device works wonders when I go on road trips.  So as I flip through stations, blehh, those local stations like kiis fm or power 106 can get tiresome, playing the tunes that are currently number one or what is currently on today's billboards.  So as a tune down a few more stations, I come across 89.3.  I'm sure all of the columnist are great but one segment between 1pm-3pm is Patt Morrison.  She has great coverage on all topics that we face in this world and also reviews on peoples books.  Discussion includes going over what an author has written to taking calls from listeners on what their opinions are on certain topics.  This is what calms and interests me during my traffic days.  What gets you?
